Daniel Grant is an athlete who has lived and breathed watersports since childhood. Growing up on and around the water, he was already riding on trick skis back in the 1990s. Early on, he discovered his passion for wakeskating and wakeboarding, quickly gaining international attention. As a teenager, he celebrated success at international competitions and made a strong impression on the scene.
What continues to set Daniel Grant apart is his extreme style and his unconventional approach to interpreting tricks and documenting them on video. He rethinks watersports, breaks existing boundaries, and consistently brings new innovations to life. New tricks, new lines, and new possibilities—Daniel is one of the riders who actively pushes the progression of the sport across all disciplines.
Since 2021, Daniel has been part of the Feature Boards team and has demonstrated from the very beginning the full potential of the boards. Particularly impressive is his approach of taking trick skiing consistently onto features: ramps, sliders, tables, boxes, or kickers—Daniel rides every feature with confidence, combining technical precision with creativity at the highest level.
With his unique riding style and innovative mindset, Daniel Grant shows what is possible when experience, courage, and passion come together—making Feature Boards an integral part of modern watersports progression.
The TRICK SCIENCE by Feature Boards was developed in close collaboration with team rider Daniel Grant to consistently realize his new, progressive approach to trick ski riding in the wake park. The goal of the development was to create a board that offers maximum stability on features, enables very high and technical tricks, and still reacts softly and in a controlled manner on landings. Special attention was paid to ensuring that the specially tuned shape provides a secure and confident feel on rails and obstacles without losing its playful character. The three-dimensionally milled top contour allows different zones to deliver varying flex characteristics, while integrated carbon inserts provide the board with the necessary stability, control, and durability. The result is an extremely robust Feature Board designed for long-term use in cable parks, tailored specifically to the demands of athletic riders, and available in sizes 42 and 43 inches.
